The GO Guide was an original idea conceived in January 2000. Launched under getoutguide.co.uk in September 2000, the guide is becoming a very popular website listing day's out, local attractions clubs, societies and leisure activities for all the family. We are currently receiving over 2800 visits per month. (1857 unique visitors in August 2002)
Due to the site becoming more and more popular, in Feb 2001 we decided to expand the topics originally covered and to add more local activities. The site now covers 23 towns and cities in the North West region.
Our aim is to become a leading directory of visitor attractions, outdoor attractions, outdoor pursuits, sports attractions and listings for hobby clubs in England and Wales with Scotland following soon, plus a guide giving details of local events, activities and recommendations for nightlife throughout North West England - covering Cheshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cumbria and the Derbyshire Peak District.
We should point out that the site is non-profit making. Any revenue generated from sponsorship or affiliate scheme sponsors is used to offset our administration and hosting costs. |
