The oldest surviving brewery in Lancashire started brewing in 1807. A new modern brewery was built in 1966. Unfortunately many of Thwaites pubs now do not sell real ale and the range of cask beers produced has been reduced in the last 10 years. Daniel Thwaites plc would be delighted to welcome your party to the brewery. Tours are available Monday to Thursday evenings between 7pm and 8pm.
