Located in the heart of the Cheshire countryside this 'secret' nuclear bunker is a fascinating day out for all the family.

Now declassified, this amazing labyrinth of concrete passages, built in the 1950s, resembles a normal utility building on the surface, however once underground you will see the communications centre, radio rooms, telephone exchange, fallout filter plant, decontamination room and much more...

Opening times (2003 season)

The bunker is open every day during the summer, from the third Saturday in March until the 31st  of October, from 10.30a.m. to 5.30p.m.

Every Saturday and Sunday during the winter from 11.00a.m. to 4.30p.m

except during December when the bunker is closed all  month.
