The Jodrell Bank Science Centre is the visitor centre for the world famous Lovell Radio Telescope and the Jodrell Bank Observatory, the astronomy research centre of the University of Manchester.

Located off the A535, between Holmes Chapel & Chelford, the Science Centre encompasses eight exhibition galleries, a 150- seater Planetarium and the extensive grounds and collections of the Arboretum.

Over 140, 000 visitors visit the Science Centre each year, with adults, families, schools, adult groups, visitors with specialist needs and business delegates finding that it is beyond their expectations.

Opening times:

Summer
From the third weekend in March to the last weekend in October we are open every day from 10:30 am to 5:30pm.

Winter
November to March, we are open
weekdays from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

weekends 11:00 am to 4:30 pm

Adults £5.00

Children £2.50 (under 5's free, but no admission to the Planetarium)

Senior Citizens £3.50
