Heaton Hall
Heaton Hall is a magnificent Grade 1 listed neo-classical house built in
1772 set in 650 acres of rolling parkland.
The Hall's beautifully restored and
furnished 18th century interiors include a unique circular Pompeiian
Room and an elegant Music Room with original instruments.

Platt Hall
Most people visit Platt hall for its famous Gallery of Costume, which is
one of the Manchester City Art Galleries, but the house itself is worth a visit. It was built of brick in 1762-64 on the site of the timber-framed manor
house of the Worsley family.

half-timbered house dating back to Tudor times. Many of the period rooms
