Botanic Gardens Museum

The Botanic Gardens Museum is situated in the Botanic Gardens in Churchtown.

 Admission is free.

The Museum also has a temporary exhibition programme, providing an opportunity for visitors to see touring exhibitions, and exhibits of local interest. More>>

Southport Arts Centre
Situated in Lord Street. You will find a varied programme of drama, comedy, musicals, theatre, dance and film through the year. Also changing exhibitions of photographs and other works of art.

The Atkinson Art Gallery

The Atkinson Art Gallery is situated between the Library and the Arts Centre in Lord Street, near the junction with Eastbank Street, in Southport.

Admission is free.

The collection includes nineteenth and twentieth century watercolours, and Victorian and twentieth century oil paintings. Themed exhibitions from the permanent collection are regularly shown. Every month the Gallery 'spotlights' a "Painting (or Sculpture) of the Month", and a talk is given about the artist and the subject.

A fascinating and unusual museum featuring some of the fastest Lawnmowers in the world.
