The Gallery is in Platt Hall, Platt Fields, Rusholme, Manchester. Buses 40-49
from the city centre. Free parking available.
What To See
The Gallery of Costume boasts one the finest collections of clothing, textiles
and fashion accessories in the country. An extensive library of fashion and
design books, magazines, catalogues and prints is also available to students
and researchers (call +44 (0)161 224 5217 for an appointment).
Access
A ramp is available for the main entrance giving access to all ground floor
rooms. There are stairs with handrails to the first floor. Guide and hearing
dogs welcome.
