| Priory History Through The Ages.
Home to a community of Augustinian canons in the medieval ages, the Priory has flourished over four centuries thanks to generous donations of land from wealthy families. Stone masons and tile makers were commissioned to decorate the most important building, the priory church. situated in beautiful and tranquil gardens with trails to explore, the museum tells the long history of the Priory. The Museum displays examples of their work as well as recalling the 400 years when Norton Priory was home to the Brooke family. They developed the tranquil woodland gardens, whose pathways are still in use.
