St Helens has had a world-wide reputation for flat glass production since the 18th Century. The World of Glass will take you on an interactive journey which explores the magical beauty of the material called glass.

The glass museum collection traces the history of glassmaking from the Egyptians to the present day, with some of the finest examples of glass in the world. Opening times:

10.00 am to 5.00 pm Tuesday to Sunday and Bank Holidays.  Please ring for opening times during the Christmas and New year period.
