In 1902 Lord Leverhulme, creator of Sunlight Soap, donated this park to the people of Bolton. He created terraced gardens, Japanese tea gardens and replica buildings.

You can picnic in the park and climb Rivington Pike up to it's 18th century tower.

Park: open dawn to dusk.

Centre: daily 10.30am - 5pm during Summer
