| Located just south of Pontins' Holiday Camp, this site is rich in wildlife
and includes some rare species. There is a small visitor information centre on the Clifton Drive north frontage. Also
here is the best surviving example of a sand dune habitat in Lancashire.
The reserve has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
