The Irwell Sculpture Trail

Is the largest public art scheme in the North West and includes the work of more than 50 artists celebrating the unique mix of heritage and landscape in the area.

The trail follows an existing 30-mile footpath up the Irwell Valley Way stretching from Salford Quays through Bury into Rossendale and up to the Pennine Moors

A walk along the River Irwell from Rawtenstall to Irwell Vale takes in several of the sculptures.

Contact Rawtenstall Tourist Information Centre tel: 01706 226590 or Rossendale Groundwork Centre tel: 01706 211421 for further information or if you wish to receive a pack of nine leaflets which detail the Irwell Sculpture Trail.
