Tandle Hill is a mixture of magnificent beech woodland and open grassland on an undulating site with a wide panorama of the surrounding countryside and Manchester plain. The park is ideal for quiet walks, orienteering and nature trails and offers a dramatic moorland experience. There is a cafe in the centre of the park which is open at weekend, bank holidays and during the school summer holidays between the hours of 11am and 4pm. There are also toilets with access for wheelchairs and pushchairs
